Text Box: It’s that time of year again! The leaves are starting to change and the air is getting crisp! With changes in the season comes changes in your house! It’s very important that you take care of your most valuable investment!
#1. Turn Off Sprinkler Systems! - There’s no need to still be watering the lawn this late in the season! Turn-off and drain the system so there is no damage later! Too many times residents forget to turn their systems off only to be treated to a watery disaster later in the winter!
#2. Clean Out Gutters! - With the leaves falling they can easily get caught up in the gutter! Over time, they can clog the gutter allowing the weight of the water to pull down the gutter, or worse, cause water damage in your home.
#3. Service Your Furnace! - Don’t forget to change the filters and oil the motor! Your cold weather friend has laid dormant for many months!
#4. Yard Clean-Up! Many leaves are now falling in the neighborhood. Please do your part to clean up and help prevent leaves from blowing into your neighbors yards!

Don’t Be A Victim Of Mail Theft!

It’s unfortunate, but many residents in the U.S. each year become victim of some type of identity theft. Be safe and follow these tips to keep your personal information just that, personal!

#1.– Mail your mail from a secure location such as a blue US Postal Service collection bin.

#2– Check your mail daily! Don’t let it pile up!  Stop your mail if you are going out of town.  It’s easy, call the USPS or go online here https://dunsapp.usps.gov/HoldMail.jsp

#3– Report suspicious activity around mailboxes to law enforcement immediately!

Remember! Bulky Waste Day Is Always The First Tuesday Of Each Month! Be sure to bag, box & bundle your waste.

School’s In Session! Slow Down!

Just to give the possible speeders in your household a warning, WVC Police have been radaring in the area and issuing citations.

Remember to slow down and be safe!

 Trick Or Treat!

The little goblins and ghouls will be out in force this coming October 30th! Since the majority of trick or treating may be done on Saturday night, please watch out for the little ones as they haunt the neighborhood. Many parties will be held in the area and traffic will be heavier than usual. Please make sure your little ones carry a flashlight or some other type of lighted source!

Please Curb Your Dog!

While it’s always nice to see owners walking pets, please make sure you have arrangements to clean up after your pet! Nobody wants a surprise on their shoes later on during the day! Not to mention the insects that it attracts!  Please use those pooper scoopers in the park also!
